What Is A
Pedal Hopper?

The Pedal Hopper is a 16 person pedal-powered party on wheels. Pub crawls are the most popular outings, we usually hit 3 bars during the 2 hours but the destinations you visit during the ride are up to you. We are able to go anywhere in RiNo or LoDo with the start/stop location at Mile Hight Spirits at 2201 Larimer St Denver, CO 80205.

Riding a Pedal Hopper is as easy as gathering some friends, meeting at your starting location, hopping on the bike, and pedaling from bar to bar for 2 hours. There are 10 pedaled seats and 6 non-pedaled seats. Each side has 6 seats, the back bench fits 3 people and there’s standing room for 1 person in the middle as well as room for a cooler.

The original pedal pubs (what Pedal Hopper uses today) were created in The Netherlands by Hank and Zwier from Het Fietscafe in 1997. The bikes were brought to Minneapolis in 2007 and have made it to over 50 cities in the US since then. Pedal Hopper’s bikes stand out from other party bikes because they are the first 16 person pedal pubs ever built and come from The Netherlands which is very unique. They are the best in construction and are the easiest to pedal contrary to our competition.

Luke Stone – Founder & Owner

For many moons (since1998 AD) Luke Stone has been, we like to say, a “successful college dropout”  with a not your normal 9-5er lifestyle. If Luke is not on the bike you might find him in his glass shop making art, playing in one of his bands, or tweaking knobs in his music studio.

Luke is the business owner and international playboy/ well-rounded genius ski slope master. If you get him as your Pedal Hopper bike bar pilot there’s a very good chance he will be quite friendly, maybe a bit of a joker and/or a goofball and will most likely enjoy himself as much as you will. He is friendly to everyone even if you’re being a little bit “too much”, but is also stern when necessary. After completing 7 years of party bike pilot school at the conservatory in 2010, he just may be one of the most outrageous pilots out there.

Matt Rubin – General Manager

If you’re a world traveler, chances are that you’ve bumped into our magnetic and charismatic (but mostly energetic) driver, Matt. Before being recruited to Denver, Matt took turns as a gondolier in Venice and a rickshaw puller in Calcutta. What makes him so well suited for the people moving craft? The patience of a child and the curiosity of a saint.

A self-appointed expert in Denver history, Matt will be delighted to point out obscure and highly arguable points of interest during your tour. His favorite hidden gem? Well, you’ll just have to pedal your way through Denver on a Pedal Hopper to find out.

In his free time, you can find Matt digging through dusty record bins, getting outsmarted by trout on Colorado’s beautiful streams, trying to bribe his precious puppy into behaving or continuing his endless quest to find a decent slab of ribs in this town.

Diana – Assistant General Manager

Diana has been pedicabbing in Denver (the rickshaw types) for over 3 years. She then made her way into the party bike world in 2014 and drove for one of our competitors for 1 year. After realizing Pedal Hopper is a way better company with way better employees, bosses and everything else that is associated with the best party bike company in Denver; she has been the Assistant General Manager for 2 1/2 years.
