The Pedal Hopper, known as a "Party Bike" or "Bike Bar," is a group-oriented activity similar to a party bus, but is entirely pedal-powered by you and all of your friends. We operate one of the original bar cycles that have been operating over in Europe for over 15 years. We are fully licensed and insured by the state of Kansas and can guarantee a safe, fun way to do a pub crawl, celebrate a birthday, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, tailgating, you name it!

The Pedal Hopper holds up to 16 people. (17 including our provided driver). 15 people are seated and one "standee" in the middle as your "bartender". We cruise at an average of about 5-8mph, the perfect speed for sharing good times. To ensure safety we have head lights, tail lights, and LED lighting around the bar at night, and we always provide a driver who steers and brakes the thing so you guys can relax and have fun. We eventually plan on obtaining permission from the city to allow beer or wine on board. This is a complicated matter and could take a little while, so for now we ask that you don't bring any alcoholic beverages. You must be at least 18 with valid I.D. to ride the Pedal Hopper.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS...

How the rental time is spent is up to the renter. Regardless of how you choose to spend your time, we assure you that this is a wonderfully unique and safe way to enjoy a group activity.

Pub crawls, birthday/bachelor/bachelorette parties, tailgates, corporate events and parades have all been a hit. Pub crawls have been the most popular tour, although you are not obligated to stop anywhere. In a pub crawl situation, the renters generally choose 3 destinations that they would like to visit throughout the tour. You must be at least 18 to ride the Pedal Hopper.

After we hop on board we will begin pedaling to each desired location. Our operator will stop at the locations you've agreed upon, and guide you to your next destination. The average 3 stop pub crawl consists of four 15 minute rides, and three 20 minute stops at the establishments of your choice. Two hours is just a minimum, additional time can be purchased for a
reduced hourly cost.

We have a beautiful route that starts in Waldo, winds down to Brookside and ends up back in Waldo. We figured Brookside street running along side of the old trolley trail would make a perfect cruising spot for the Pedal Hopper. There are a few ups and downs on this route, but the difficulty isn't so bad with all of your friends helping to pedal!
